Joana posted – There are several pros and cons to of using simulations in healthcare education.
Simulation provides realistic practice, immediate feedback, critical thinking, and confidence building. The cons include but are not limited to resource intensive, time-consuming, and technology issues can interrupt learning and cause a tremendous amount of frustration.

What do you think are some pros and cons of using simulations in healthcare education? There were different models presented each with their own unique focal point. Although, they did have some similarities,

do believe students gaining real life experience and applications in their course can better prepare them for their future. Some learners prefer a hands-on experience which can improve the students learning experience. It can be challenging creating real life experiences which can ultimately be viewed as a disadvantage.

How can you incorporate the techniques demonstrated in this training in your own classroom? Mastery of material is a technique incorporate. Giving my students the opportunity to redo their course work to improve their grade allows the learner to enhance their understanding on the topic.
