The other part of this assignment includes assessing if those services are susceptible to any known/unknown vulnerabilities and recommending the necessary security controls and mitigating strategies required to guard against them. Your recommendation will be useful in assigning severity levels to identified vulnerabilities, particularly for risk and vulnerability management.

Additionally, the outcome of your findings will guide decision-makers to revise the policy—to make sure the necessary controls are adequately in place and working as expected and to ensure absolute data protection.
