3. Define Anarchism and its basic principles. Discuss the concepts of anarcho-syndicalism and nihilism. Be sure to address the philosophers who discussed these. Conclude by discussing pacifism and its influence on the U.S. Civil Rights movement.
4. Identify and discuss Marx’s five stages of human development. Compare and contrast Utopian and Revisionist Socialism with Orthodox/Scientific Socialism as articulated by Marx and Lenin. Conclude by discussing the significance of socialist revolutions in either the Soviet Union or China.
