Instructions
You will develop a conference poster for this assignment depicting different business structures. This assignment includes two parts:
Part 1
You are the director of the Small Business Administration and have been asked to present at a national business conference that depicts the various types of legal structures that organizations and businesses can consider. Many individuals considering starting new businesses will attend this conference and look for key information on how they should start their businesses. In addition to providing a workshop and some individual consulting, you have decided to develop a conference poster that clearly illustrates different business structure options. Review this week’s resources before creating your poster to ensure it addresses your prospective business owner’s questions and concerns.
Specific requirements for the poster:
Describe the seven types of business structures.
Offer a brief benefit of each.
Identify a brief disadvantage of each.
Include at least one visual.
Part 2
Visit the Academic Success Center (ASC) in the link below and browse the many different resources available to students. Then, write one paragraph using a separate Word document to reflect on what you believe was helpful in the ASC site. Please use the Student Paper Template as your starting point for papers in this course and future courses.
Length: 1-page conference/academic poster. Reflection on the ASC site is one paragraph in a separate Microsoft Word document.
References: Include a minimum of 1 scholarly resource among the resources you use for the assignment.

Second Assignment
Instructions
Background
In your readings for this week, you discovered many business systems exist in many forms, depending on an organization’s goals. You have also examined how organizations adapt to modernizing business environments and innovation challenges in individual and corporate environments.
Some systems are designed for risk management, while others are designed for continuity and include processes or procedures. To understand a business’s systems, analysts must use a framework to examine those systems. Various framework tools were introduced in the lesson. For example, the SWOT analysis is one such framework tool.
For this assignment, you will choose an organization that you see as being agile, adaptive, and able to continue to sustain and evolve in the 21st century. You will do a case study on the organization and the various business systems that have made it successful. Select one of the framework tools mentioned in the lesson or another you learned from your previous readings or your research that you feel is more appropriate to the type of industry you will be examining. The companies can be grocery stores, restaurants, or large companies like Amazon. While conducting this study, consider yourself in charge of ensuring these systems function properly and have the flexibility to deal with possible changes in the business environment.

Using your knowledge and additional research in the Academic Success Center to create an APA paper that includes the following (see the Student Paper Template for additional paper guidance):
A title page.
Company name and brief historical background.
Mission, vision, and values of the company.
Overview of the company’s operational system.
Using one of the framework tools, assess the organization’s success.
Identify any specific problems that the organization faces operationally.
Discuss what improvements could be made in their systems to make them more successful.
A conclusion paragraph.
Your Reference page (begins on a new page).
Length: 5 to 7 content pages (add the headings above).

Third Assignment
Background
You are a corporate CEO of a global organization and desire to run an organization of excellence. You feel that your Directors and Executive need additional information on the ethical, legal, and social responsibilities of an organization of excellence and the importance of being a diverse and inclusive organization. You write a paper to be distributed to all Directors and Executive Managers that will be used as a basis of a strategic discussion meeting that is scheduled for the next two weeks.
Instructions
In your paper, be sure to address the following:
Describe legal responsibilities that the company has to its community. Examples include reliability, accountability, and trustworthiness.
Explain the additional ethical responsibility that the company will adopt as part of its values. Examples include beneficence, no intentional actions that harm, freedom to decide right to refuse, and social justice. Explain why it is important for the company to go beyond its legal responsibilities.
Identify socially responsible activities in which you are encouraging your employees to participate in.
Examples can include volunteering in the community, suggestions for corporate policies that benefit the environment, or charitable giving. Explain the benefits that these activities offer for your company, benefits to consumers, and the benefits to surrounding communities.
Share the importance of being a diverse and inclusive organization and how that benefits the organization and its business.
Length: 7-10 pages
