Research Question:

Does infliximab effectively achieve remission in Behçet’s uveitis patients?
Objectives of the Literature Review:
• Evaluate the efficacy of infliximab in achieving remission in Behçet’s uveitis patients.

• Assess the safety profile of infliximab.
The Review Will Include:

1. Introduction: Overview of Behçet’s disease, its prevalence in Saudi Arabia, and its uveitis complications.

2. Infliximab Overview: Mechanism of action, its use in autoimmune diseases, and its specific relevance to Behçet’s uveitis.

3. Efficacy Evidence: Summary of studies assessing clinical outcomes, including remission rates.

4. Safety Profile: Highlight adverse events, tolerability, and patient withdrawal rates due to side effects.

5. Comparison with Alternatives: Comparison between infliximab biologic (Remicade) and biosimilar (Remsima) as well as other biologics (e.g., adalimumab) for treating uveitis.
