Write up to provide summary of your takeaways from simulation

The purpose of this final write up is to provide a summary of your takeaways from this simulation. Please answer each question in an essay format. Provide specific terms, vocabulary, and concepts as they were learned in class. Please support your answers with concrete (specific) examples from your own performance, using specific data where applicable . You will be graded based on how proficient you are in the social media terms and theories, how well you support your statements, and the usage of specific examples and data from your own performance. Que. 1:

This simulation provided you with three social media methods: 1) organic posts 2) paid posts 3) influencers.
Based on your experience and what you learned in this course, what were the advantages and disadvantages of using each method compared to the other?

First provide general advantages and disadvantages for each method, as we learned in the course. Then go into your specific experience with the simualtion. Remember to provide specific examples (and/or data) from your own performance (I want to see numbers!).

Before you started rounds 10-12 you created a strategic plan to follow (assignment 3). How did this plan work out for you? Did you need to adjust it in rounds 11 or/and 12? Remember to provide specific examples (and/or data) from your own performance (I want to see numbers!).

Que. 3:

For each type of media that you had in the simulation (organic, paid): what platform was the most effective? What content was the most effective (promotional or branding)? What type of visual was most effective (image, video)? And what hashtag was most effective?
For the influencers: What type of influencer was the most effective? What type of strategy was the most effective? What number of posts was the most effective?

Before you answer make sure you define what “effective” is for each, and provide data to show that indeed what you chose is the “most effective”.

Looking back on all your work, what do you think is the biggest key to success in the simulation? What are the 3 main takeaways for you from doing this simulation?

Note that a “takeaway” is defined as: “a key fact, point, or idea to be remembered, or that changed the way you think about things.” It can be something that surprised you, was unexpected, etc. These need to be very thorough, specific, and with examples from your performance.
